Spectator throws hotdog at Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods' tough 2011 season took a new turn when he had a hotdog thrown at him during the final round of the Frys.com Open in California.

The golf star was preparing to putt at the seventh green when a man ran from the crowd and tossed the hotdog in his direction.

Tiger backed away from his putt and the man promptly surrendered to tournament security personnel and police by lying on the ground with his hands behind his head.

Authorities did not give the man's name. They said he appeared to be intoxicated and had been arrested.

Woods reportedly laughed off the incident.
