McGinley's side take early lead in Seve Trophy
Paul McGinley's Great Britain and Ireland side have claimed the first two points of this week's Vivendi Seve Trophy in Paris and are also leading in two of the three matches still out on course.
Scott Jamieson and Ross Fisher bagged the first point for the GB&I team after thrashing Peter Hanson and Raphaël Jacquelin, six-and-four.
Simon Dyson and Jamie Donaldson enjoyed a two-and-one victory over Miguel Angel Jimenez and Pablo Larrazabal.
McGinley's team are leading in two of the matches still out on course, but the only silver-lining so far for Continental Europe has come from Anders Hansen and Francesco Molinari, who are one-up against Mark Foster and Lee Westwood.
