Haas leads the way in Charlotte

Bill Haas fired an eight-under 64 to claim a two-shot lead at the end of day one of the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow in Charlotte.

Local boy Haas, who began his challenge on the back nine, birdied his opening hole and that set the platform for a blemish-free round on the course where he learned his trade growing up.
