Dubai: Woods eyes end to title drought, McIlroy in three-way lead
Tiger Woods is right in contention for a first title anywhere in almost 15 months as the Omega Dubai Desert Classic looked too close to call heading into tomorrow’s final round.
Windy conditions affected the later starters on day three at the Emirates Golf Club but former world number one Woods, who has still to win a title since returning to the sport following the indiscretions in his private life came to light in late 2009, feels he has as good a chance as anyone after a battling level-par 72 today.
