Steve Stricker shot the round of the day to take his place in a three-strong leadership group at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.

Stricker signed for an eight-under round of 65 on day three to go to 18 under for the tournament, where he was joined by fellow Americans Jonathan Byrd and Robert Garrigus.
