McIlroy claims early lead in Hong Kong
Rory McIlroy got his bid for a second European Tour win off to the ideal start after firing a seven-under-par 63 to take the clubhouse lead in the first round of the UBS Hong Kong Open.
The Northern Irishman has fallen just short of victory at the past two editions of the tournament having lost out in a play-off to Lin Wen-tang in 2008 before missing out to Gregory Bourdy a year later.
