Strong start for Irish at Singapore Masters

The Irish trio of Gareth Maybin, Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell have all enjoyed impressive starts to the Singapore Masters at Sentosa Golf Club today.

Chris Wood fired a sparkling 63 to claim a share of the clubhouse lead on eight-under-par, but a morning weather disruption means much of the field still had to complete their first rounds.
