Martin leads despite Huldahl birdie blitz

Jeppe Huldahl’s record-equalling round of 61 was not enough for him to claim the lead at the Portugal Masters as Pablo Martin raced into a three-shot advantage going into tomorrow’s final round after a day of low scoring in Vilamoura.

Dane Huldahl equalled the European Tour record for birdies in a single round with 12 as he raced to 15 under just hours after just making the cut with a late surge on Friday.
