Ryder organisers consider contingency plans

A Monday finish for the first time in the history of the Ryder Cup looms larger after heavy rain forced play to be suspended on the opening morning at Celtic Manor.

Organisers were to make an announcement at noon, but that has recenlty been delayed until 1pm.
