Hoffman catapults up the world rankings

American Charley Hoffman’s runaway five-shot win at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston – the second event of the FedEx Cup play-offs – lifts him from 132nd to 51st in the world.

England’s Luke Donald was joint second and improves from 11th to eighth.
