Fog disrupts play at Gleneagles

Fog suspended play early in the second round of the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles today.

The first groups out had completed only three holes when conditions became too bad to continue.

In that time, however, Frenchman Gregory Bourdy joined England’s Richard Finch in the lead at six under par with two opening birdies, but then bogeyed the third.

Scot Stephen Gallacher, one behind overnight, parred his first two holes, but Italian Francesco Molinari, now certain to be making his Ryder Cup debut in October following Ross McGowan’s injury withdrawal, bogeyed the short 10th and slipped to three-under.
