Parnevik set for comeback
Former Ryder Cup Swede Jesper Parnevik will play his first tournament since February at the Nordea Scandinavian Masters in Stockholm this week.
Five months ago the 45-year-old feared his career might be over because of a fractured vertebrae in his lower back, which needed emergency fusion surgery.
However, Parnevik is back against a field which includes new Open champion Louis Oosthuizen, who has honoured his commitment to play after being given an invitation prior to his St Andrews triumph.
Americans Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson, South African Rory Sabbatini and Korean star KJ Choi have also moved on to the event from Scotland.
