Woods down but not out

Tiger Woods’ hopes of an unprecedented third Open title at St Andrews effectively disappeared with a third-round 73 today.

Woods could only card three birdies and four bogeys on another blustery afternoon on the Old Course, leaving the world number one 12 strokes behind leader Louis Oosthuizen.
