Karlsson dash ends in stunning course record

One of the most remarkable 24-hour periods of Robert Karlsson’s life ended at lunchtime today with his setting a new Wentworth course record with a dazzling 62.

The 40-year-old Swede flew home to Monte Carlo yesterday thinking he had missed the halfway cut on three over par.
