McIlroy claims first PGA Tour title

Rory McIlroy set a new course record en route to winning the Quail Hollow Championship, his first PGA title as he became the youngest winner on the Tour since Tiger Woods in 1996.

The Irishman, who turns 21 on Tuesday, enjoyed a blistering round, capped by a 43-foot birdie putt on the 18th, to sign for a 62 and win by four shots from Phil Mickelson.
