Wie secures narrow advantage in Mexico

Michelle Wie claimed a one-shot lead at the halfway stage of the Tres Marias Championship in Mexico on Friday.

Tied in third with world number one Lorena Ochoa after the first round, Wie shot a five-under round of 68 to leave herself at 12 under overall, one clear of Brittany Lincicome, who shot a 67, and first-round leader Ai Miyazato of Japan who followed an opening 63 with a 72.
