Thomas Levet was left wishing he was playing at The Masters rather than commentating on it after bursting into contention at the Andalucian Open in Malaga today.

The former Ryder Cup player, who works for French television at the first major of the year, survived the halfway cut with only a shot to spare and was joint 52nd overnight, but he made it all the way into a share of the lead before bogeying the last.
