The wait for Tiger Woods’ return to golf goes on. He will definitely not be playing next week’s WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona.

The troubled world number one, not seen in public since crashing his car in the early hours of November 27, had until 10pm British time to either commit to the event or continue his self-imposed exile.
