Sweden’s Fredrik Andersson Hed and Indian Shiv Kapur – 431st and 361st in the world respectively – shared the lead after six holes of the final round in the South African Open at Pearl Valley today.

Spaniard Pablo Martin, winner of the Alfred Dunhill Championship last week, led by one overnight, but bogeyed the long third to drop back to 10 under.

Andersson Hed, who was at the European Tour qualifying school two weeks ago, reached 12 under with four birdies and a bogey in the first five holes, but then had another bogey on the next to slip back alongside Kapur.

As a result five players were separated by a single shot, Italian Edoardo Molinari and South African James Kingston, champion two years ago, being alongside Martin.
