Vivendi Trophy to get underway in France
Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell are due to get the Great Britain and Ireland challenge underway at the Vivendi Trophy near Paris this morning.
The Ulster duo take on Soren Kjeldsen and Alvaro Quiros of the Continental European team in the opening fourballs.
Meanwhile, Padraig Harrington is in contention for the biggest money prize in golf at the Tour Championship in Atlanta, which also gets underway today.
The Dubliner will pocket the $10m FedEx Cup top prize if he wins the event and Tiger Woods finishes in third place or worse.
