McIlroy steady in Switzerland
Rory McIlroy remained four under after two holes when the Omega European Masters resumed in Switzerland today , but playing partner Lee Westwood birdied the 10th and improved to one under.
England’s Simon Dyson also made a move - but it was downward.
One behind Australian Brett Rumford after an opening 63 containing two eagles, Dyson bogeyed the 11th and 13th – both par threes – and as a result found himself in a six-way tie for second place.
Also six under, but yet to tee off again, were fellow Yorkshireman Danny Willett, Spanish Ryder Cup player Miguel Angel Jimenez, Swedes Christian Nilsson and Alexander Noren and also Argentina’s Andres Romero.
