Harrington commits to Singapore Open

Padraig Harrington has committed himself to the Barclays Singapore Open at the end of next month, ruling himself out of a place in the Volvo World Match Play Championship in Spain if he qualifies.

Both events are now part of the European Tour schedule and while Ernie Els would have been going for a record eighth Match Play crown, he will be in Singapore as well.
