Laytown and Bettystown's Robbie Cannon is facing Cork's Gary O'Flaherty in this afternoon's final of the South of Ireland Amateur Open at Lahinch.

The 30-year-old Dubliner, who considered withdrawing from the championship earlier this week because of illness, beat Castletroy's Eamonn Haugh 3 and 1 to reach his first provincial final.
