European and Asian tours forge closer links

The European Tour announced closer ties with the Asian Tour today, declaring an alliance “designed to invigorate the game internationally”.

Since the first co-sanctioned event in 1999, there have been 55 more – and the two governing bodies have formed EurAsia Golf Ltd as a point of contact for tournament promoters and a strategic aim to develop “the media global platform”.
