Ireland's Peter Lawrie has just missed out on a spot at the Open Championship in Turnberry next month.

Ireland's Peter Lawrie has just missed out on a spot at the Open Championship in Turnberry next month.

The Dubliner lost a six-man play-off for the final two spots in the tournament at the qualifying event in Berkshire last night.

Scotland's Richie Ramsay and England's Oliver Fisher progressed from the play-off to join the eight other players who made it though after 36 holes.
