Maybin best of Irish competitors in Malaysia

Gareth Maybin is tied for 17th place at the Malaysian Open after a three-under-par 69 in his opening round today.

The Ulsterman is seven shots adrift of South Korean teenager Noh Seung Yul, who shot a 10-under-par 62.
