Hansen heads Joburg field

An outstanding finish to his front nine holes helped Anders Hansen take a one-shot lead into the final afternoon at the Joburg Open today.

The Dane knocked in four consecutive birdies at the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club to make the turn in 31, but a first dropped shot at the par-three 12th saw his two-shot lead halved as he dropped to 14 under – four under for his round – with six holes still to play.
