Mickelson surges into contention
Phil Mickelson surged into contention at the Barclays Singapore Open this morning, picking up birdies on his last two holes of the third round to move into a share of third spot, four strokes behind leader Chapchai Nirat of Thailand.
The world number three made a poor start to the US dollars five million Asian Tour tournament with a two-over 73 on the opening day but moved into the top 20 after carding a 68 in his second round.
