Vijay Singh, down to 15th in the world only five weeks ago, is back to third after registering his third victory in that spell at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston last night.

The 45-year-old Fijian, who has now won the first two legs of the FedEx Cup play-off series, relegates Open and US PGA champion Padraig Harrington to fourth and Sergio Garcia to fifth.
