Donald out of Ryder Cup

England’s Luke Donald has been ruled out of Ryder Cup contention and will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing left wrist surgery.

The procedure was performed by Dr Andrew Weiland at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York yesterday.
