Nightmare finish for O'Hair

A nightmare nine-seven finish sent American Sean O’Hair tumbling to a third round 80 in The Open at Royal Birkdale.

O’Hair, hoping to make a move up the United States’ Ryder Cup table, was only three over for the day and 11 over for the championship with two to play, but lost a ball off the 17th tee, then failed to get out of a bunker just short of the green.
