Irish golfer Graeme McDowell is now the ninth highest-ranked European in the world after his Scottish Open victory.

Irish golfer Graeme McDowell is now the ninth highest-ranked European in the world after his Scottish Open victory.

The win lifts him from 59th to 29th, while American Kenny Perry - not playing The Open this week - now stands 16th after his third US Tour success in seven weeks.
