Mickelson looking for improvement

Phil Mickelson was today planning to take the low road to glory in the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond.

Star attraction Mickelson, the world number two, could only manage an opening round of 71, level-par, on yesterday to lie seven shots off the lead shared by Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee and Swede Alexander Noren.
