Cink’s win relegates Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose, the top two Europeans in the rankings, to eighth and ninth, while Open champion Padraig Harrington is 13th.

German Martin Kaymer climbs from 41st to 30th thanks to his play-off success at the BMW International in Munich.
