Four-way tie for lead at Travelers

Steve Lowery shot a six-under-par 64 to grab a share of the lead after the first round of the Travelers Championship on Thursday.

Showing no signs of his recent struggles, Lowery took advantage of ideal playing conditions at the TPC River Highlands, rattling off six birdies in a nine-hole stretch to join Americans Johnson Wagner and Brad Adamonis and England’s Brian Davis at the top of the leaderboard.
