Darren Clarke birdied four holes in a row from the second to move into joint second place in the Wales Open at Celtic Manor today.

He burst to 12 under par, alongside Spaniard Alvaro Velasco and three behind Australian Scott Strange, who had led since his opening 63 on Thursday.
