Wie heads for Munich

Michelle Wie is in Munich this week as she continues her attempt to rediscover the form which earned her worldwide fame and fortune.

The 18-year-old, down to 172nd place on the women’s world rankings after being third two years ago, has accepted an invitation to play in the Ladies German Open starting on Thursday, her first appearance in a full Ladies European Tour field.
