Wilson and Jiminez in play-off

England’s Oliver Wilson and Spain’s Miguel Angel Jimenez went into a play-off for the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth today.

Both were four behind Robert Karlsson at the start of the day and shot four-under rounds of 68 to finish 11 under par.

Wilson missed a 15-foot birdie chance on the last, then Jimenez fluffed a chip and had to settle for par as well. Karlsson had a chance from just over three feet to make it a three-way tie, but incredibly three-putted and fell into a tie for third with Luke Donald, who shot 65 to record the best total of the day.
