Three-under rounds take Derksen and Zhang top

Robert-Jan Derksen and Zhang Lian-wei both carded a three-under-par 69 to take a one-stroke lead into the weekend of the BMW Asian Open as world number 13 Henrik Stenson’s challenge faded after a disappointing round.

Stenson had started the day just one stroke off the top at four under par but struggled in the windy conditions at the Shanghai Pudong Golf Club to drop to level par overall, five shots off the pace.
