Cork golfer eyes European Tour card

Cork’s former Southeastern Louisiana University golfer Peter O’Keeffe took a step closer to a European Tour card today when he reached this week’s Q-School final round in Spain.

O’Keeffe, who enjoyed a successful collegiate career at Southeastern before returning home to earn his tour card, was one of 74 qualifiers to progress to the final round at San Roque after securing the necessary top 18 finish in the Q-School second stage at Sherry Golf, Jerez.
