Rose slips in rankings

Justin Rose has paid a price for not playing in last week’s HSBC Champions tournament in Shanghai – he is no longer Europe’s top-ranked player.

Padraig Harrington has gone back above Rose at seventh in the world thanks to his fifth place finish in China.
