Rose and Harrington lead the way

Justin Rose and Padraig Harrington, both with a chance to win the European Order of Merit on Sunday, go into the third round of the Volvo Masters at Valderrama in first and second place.

But it is Rose, currently third on the money list, who has the definite advantage. He moved to four under par at halfway with a best-of-the-day 68 and leads the Open champion by four.

Harrington, also needing a top three finish this weekend to overhaul current Order of Merit leader Ernie Els, had his second successive 71 and improved from fifth to second spot.
