Talks begin in K Club greens keepers dispute
K Club bosses are to hold talks with union officials representing their green keepers at the Labour Relations Commission today.
An industrial relations row was sparked at last year's Ryder Cup venue after two green keepers were made compulsorily redundant.
The Amicus union, which represents the green keepers, also claims that promised pay rises have not been received and that the working week has been cut to three days.
Strike action due to begin last Saturday was postponed ahead of today's talks.
However, a picket planned for next weekend at the Co Kildare course remains in place.
