Strong winds delayed the start of the second day’s play at the Solheim Cup in Sweden today.

Gusts of around 35mph caused some damage on the Halmstad course south of Gothenburg and officials were meeting at 9am local time – 55 minutes after the second series of foursomes had been due to begin – to review the situation.
