Harrington eight shots off lead at Barclays event

Ireland's Padraig Harrington is eight shots off the lead heading into the second round of the Barclays event in New York state today.

South Africa's Rory Sabatini leads the field on eight under par, with Harrington finishing up yesterday on level par.

Elsewhere, Gary Murphy is three shots off the lead at the KLM Open in Holland after carding a three-under-par opening round yesterday.

David Higgins is one shot further back and Damien McGrane is one over.

Jean Baptiste Gonnet and Taichi Teshima share the lead on six under par.
