Woods homing in on major number 13

Tiger Woods closed in on his 13th major victory after maintaining his three-shot lead at the halfway point of his final round in red-hot conditions at the US PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Oklahoma.

Wayward off the tee on both the first two holes, Woods paid for it with a bogey at the second, but rebounded nicely to reach eight under after nine holes - three ahead of Ernie Els.
