Harrington runs out of gas

Padraig Harrington arrived at Southern Hills hoping to add the US PGA Championship to the Open title he won at Carnoustie last month but a third-round 72 left him 11 strokes behind leader Tiger Woods and his dream in tatters.

Harrington carded just one birdie as he dropped to four over for the tournament, with his opening-round 69 now a distant memory.
