Murphy tied for third place on day one in Russia

Ireland's Gary Murphy is tied for third place on the opening day of the Russian Open in Moscow today.

Murphy carded a five-under-par opening round to end up two shots adrift of clubhouse leader Christian L Nilsson of Sweden.

Elsewhere, Peter Lawrie finished up on one under par, while David Higgins was four over par after seven holes of his round.
