Mallinger and Allan eye maiden Tour title

American John Mallinger and Australian Steve Allan share the the lead at the halfway point of the Canadian Open – on 10 under-par at the Angus Glen Golf Club.

After beginning the second round at seven under, two strokes behind overnight leader Hunter Mahan, Allen moved to the top of the leaderboard with a three-under 68 – while Mallinger carded a bogey-free five-under 66.
