Langer out of Hamburg

Germany’s Bernhard Langer has withdrawn from the Deutsche Bank Players’ Championship after undergoing a kidney operation today.

Langer was taken to hospital in Hamburg early on Wednesday morning suffering from a kidney stone and surgeons operated to repair the lining of his kidney.
